We believe that everyone should be able to access quality, affordable therapy.

What we do

Our mission is to make high-quality, long-term therapy more accessible. We offer a modern, inclusive counselling service that places people at the centre of their own journey. We take a holistic approach that understands each person’s unique experiences and challenges.

Our service was founded in response to the reality that quality, long-term counselling and therapy are often out of reach for many. The limited availability and short-term focus of NHS therapy means that too many people are left without the support they need. We set out to change that by creating a service that is accessible, affordable, and designed to provide meaningful, sustained care.

Adam
Founder, Clinical Director

Adam is a BACP-registered integrative psychotherapist and candidate psychoanalyst at the Bowlby Centre in attachment-based psychotherapy and relational psychoanalysis. He holds a post-graduate diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy from the University of East London, and is currently undertaking a research masters in psychotherapy. His research interests relate to the experience of early attachment, trust, and how these interact with chronic health conditions.

Adam has a specialist interest in working with people who struggle to form and maintain relationships they feel secure in. He has experience working with complex early life trauma, individuals who battle with addictions and helping people learn to cope with difficult feelings such as anger, shame, or hopelessness. In his private practice, much of his daily work focuses on helping people deal with low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression.

His approach is based on the idea that behind our thoughts and behaviours sit motivations, conflicts and feelings that are often out of sight to us. In the therapy room we gently bring these into view, examine them, which can help us understand ourselves and live better.

Frequently asked questions

I’ve never done therapy before—what should I expect?

Starting therapy can feel intimidating. We offer a safe, supportive space to explore your thoughts and feelings. In your first session, your therapist will ask questions to get to know you, you can talk about whatever you want, and together you can work out what you need.

How much does it cost and how do I pay?

All sessions are £30. You will be invoiced weekly for your fee via email, which you should pay on receipt by bank transfer, credit or debit card; payment instructions will appear on your weekly invoice. You won't be charged on public holidays or if your therapist is on holiday.

I’m nervous about starting therapy—what if it doesn’t work?

It’s normal to feel nervous. Therapy is a collaborative process, and progress can take time. Our therapists are here to guide and support you. Even taking the first step is a success.

How do you support people from different backgrounds?

We are committed to creating a welcoming and affirming space for everyone, regardless of culture, background, or identity. This includes GSRD (Gender, Sexual, and Relationship Diversity) communities. Our therapists approach each person with sensitivity, understanding, and respect, tailoring support to your unique experiences.

How does therapy work?

Our sessions are 50 minutes long. It's a space where you can talk openly about your challenges. Your therapist listens without judgment, helps you understand your feelings, and over time you can build the confidence, tools and resources to handle life's challenges.

Are the therapists qualified?

All of our therapists are qualified or in their final year of training. All trainees are registered with a professional association and deemed fit to practice under their standards. Our trainees all have regular support and supervision. This supervision and support allows trainees to provide excellent therapy, while continuously developing their professional expertise.
